  • Duration: 9 nights

The Ultimate Okavango safari is an exclusive 10 day luxury experience steeped in natures riches. Opulently furnished camps with rooms looking out over lagoons or floodplains dotted with wildlife. The concessions we have chosen for this ultimate of safari experiences, are within unspoilt pristine reserves – their prime locations and productive habitat making them arguably the best wildlife viewing areas in the world!

Spectacular numbers of plains game such as zebra, wildebeest, lechwe, giraffe, impala, warthog, kudu, elephants and buffalo abound followed by predators such as giggling clans of hyena, high lion densities and movie star-quality leopards. Never forgetting their environmental footprint, the camps aim to provide the very best in location, privacy, accommodation and service. With the opportunity to absorb yourself in a whole new world, each camp is a haven of peace and tranquillity immersed within the natural rhythms of the bush.

You will spend 3 nights in 3 different locations each, this ensures a combination of diverse habitat and wildlife – an experience second to none.  On this magical safari we allow you to choose between 6 glorious camps at no additional costs – Mombo and Little Mombo in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve and the largest inland Delta on the planet – an award winning camp on the sensational Chief’s Island.  Abu Camp, where you are invited to walk or ride with elephants and getting a privileged glimpse into their world.   The modern and luxurious Vumbura Camp, perfectly situated in the midst of a large floodplain or the breath-taking design and location of Jao Camp, nestled amongst palm trees, waterlillies, leaping lechwe and dancing cranes.

Lastly Kings Pool Camp nestled in the Linyanti Concession, offers many varied habitats such as riverine forests, waterways, marshes, dry woodlands and grasslands.  It is also home to the densest dry season concentrations of elephants anywhere in Africa!    The vast expanses of this area provide refuge for specialized antelope such as the roan and sable, not to mention the significant concentrations of large prides of lion, endangered wild dog, leopard, hyena and cheetah.   This area is an excellent contrast to the wonderful Okavango and an essential compliment to this safari.
